Ben Story, the Director of Managed Services at RedEye Network Solutions, is a seasoned technology expert with over two decades of experience. His journey in the tech realm commenced in 1998 during his Freshman year at Truman State University, where he delved into managing Shiva LanRover modem banks for a small dial-up ISP. Since then, Ben’s career has been a dynamic exploration of servers, telephony, networking, and security, often navigating through multiple domains simultaneously.
A staunch advocate for problem-solving over workarounds, Ben’s approach revolves around dissecting challenges to their core and delving into new technologies if necessary to gain deeper insights. He’s committed to contributing to both the technology community and society at large, a commitment that reflects in his blog, Pack IT Forwarding, where he shares insights and knowledge garnered throughout his career.
Beyond technology, Ben finds joy in spending quality time with his wife and their rescue dogs, showcasing his compassionate side. An unwavering supporter of the Chicago Cubs, he’s equally passionate about his interests outside the tech sphere.
