Platify Insights is a new industry-analyst firm that specializes in providing insights on technology platforms. It was founded by Donnie Berkholz, Ph.D., who also serves as Chief Analyst. He is a veteran technology executive and industry analyst with more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector.
Donnie has served as an executive at Percona, Docker, and CWT (formerly Carlson Wagonlit Travel), and an executive in residence at Scale Venture Partners. He has also worked as an industry analyst at leading-edge analyst firms RedMonk and 451 Research. Previously, he’s been an engineering leader, a software developer, a (data) scientist, and a journalist. Donnie holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry & biophysics (computational structural biology) from Oregon State University and B.S. and B.A. degrees from the University of Richmond.
