Germán Capdehourat

Interests:

Germán Capdehourat received the B.E. degree from the Universidad de la República in 2006 and a specialized degree in telecommunications in 2009.
He has been with Universidad de la República since 2005, being Assistant Professor since 2008.
He teaches digital signal processing and communication systems.
His main research areas have been image processing and computer networks.
Since December 2007, he has been with Plan Ceibal, working on the design, deployment and optimization of a wireless access solution for all laptops given to primary and secondary school students in the country.
He is currently a PhD student, holding a fellowship from ANII, and also supported by Plan Ceibal for researching on wireless networks.
