I work in IT since 2000. Virtualization and Cloud Architect, I design virtualized infrastructures all over Europe, with a high specialization on VMware and Data Protection. I have a solid background in Information Security from my previous activity, in 2004 I received the prestigious CISSP security certification, as well as ISECOM OPSA and ISO27001.
I’m very active and known in the VMware community. I’m one of the founders of the Italian VMware User Group (VMUG.IT). In 2011 I received the vExpert award, also confirmed in 2012 and 2013.
Finally, I’m the author of virtualtothecore.com, an independent blog in Italian and English on VMware and virtualization technologies. Founded in 2008, is constantly updated with detailed guides, insights about new products, and analysis of emerging technologies, with a particular interest for of Data Protection topics such as backup and disaster recovery.
