Milou Meier (“me-lou”) is a cybersecurity and privacy tech lawyer, self-proclaimed compliance nerd, and technologist who’s served as Director of Compliance, Security, Legal, IT, Governance & Risk, Procurement, and Ops (one of those turbo start-up folks who actually loves wearing all the hats). She’s now the founder of Compliance Counsel, where she helps start-ups and scaling companies turn privacy, infosec, and audit chaos into proactive, tailored compliance programs—and she co-hosts Socializing Security, a podcast making cybersecurity, IT, and infosec compliance easy to understand and hopefully fun. Milou lives in Austin, TX with her husband, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
