Paul Meehan has been doing IT for over 18 years, most of it at the Enterprise level. Installed his first EMC Clariion back in 2001 and since then has designed across many vendors storage. Worked for many years as a Backup and Disaster Recovery specialist.
His love of Lego as a child has evolved into a passion for building and integrating systems, storage, databases, networks and since vSphere 3, Virtualization is his main passion. He has a keen interest in Openstack technology and software defined networking.
Holder of some certifications such as VMware VCAP5-DCA/DCD, VCP and CCNA among others, Paul is actively working on his VCDX Design and is registered to defend in July 2014. Massive advocate for the VMware Community and the great power it provides to all who embrace it. Actively blogging and writing whenever time permits.
In his spare time his passions are Family, Scuba Diving, Mountain Biking, Lab time, Italian Wine and Blue Cheese.
