Romeo Gardner III, is the President and CEO of Nehlos, a Cybersecurity firm based in Northern Virginia. His journey includes providing pivotal support roles at the White House Communication Agency (WHCA) under Presidents George Bush Jr. and Barack Obama. A seasoned cybersecurity strategist, former Microsoft engineer, and educator. He is an Adjunct Cybersecurity Instructor and the creator of programs that make digital safety accessible to K-12 students and small businesses alike.
In 2025, Romeo took the TEDx stage with his talk “Ctrl + Alt + Teach: Why Cybersecurity Should Be a Mandatory Subject in Schools,” championing the idea that digital literacy is the new driver’s education. Through his leadership, teaching, and speaking, he is committed to safeguarding today while preparing the next generation for a resilient tomorrow.
