After 13 years pre-/post sales support in the areas Sun/Solaris, Linux and datacenter hardware, Wolfgang in 2011 started a career as freelance storage consultant, scouting and explaining complex IT technology to customers. He is a part time board member of sys4 AG, where he is mostly involved in project planning and financials. Together with his wife he runs the German speaking IT news platform data://disrupted, where he does also podcast and video productions.
Wolfgang holds a masters degree in electrical engineering, enjoys listening to complex rock music and has a big interest in computing history and hacker culture. He lives with his wife and two cats in the rural south eastern Germany.
